Ride for Vets is a self-supported, cross-country bicycle journey with one goal: to honor and support our nation’s veterans. Led by 70-year-old Brett Littrell, the ride begins and ends in Kansas City, Kansas, covering thousands of miles coast to coast. Every mile pedaled is powered by purpose, gratitude, and a deep respect for those who’ve served.
This journey is dedicated to supporting wounded veterans, first responders, and their families through programs that make a lasting impact. Our mission is to turn one man’s determination into a national movement of gratitude and giving.

The man behind the ride, Brett Littrell, is no ordinary cyclist. At 70 years old, he embodies resilience, compassion, and unwavering patriotism. His motivation stems from a deep respect for those who have served—and a desire to give back in a way that’s both visible and impactful.

History
Brett’s cross-country ride may be his most ambitious cycling challenge yet—but it’s far from his first.
His love for the open road began over three decades ago and has been a defining part of his life ever since.

To aid our US veterans and their families in their time of need with the ultimate goal to help our veterans regain self-sufficiency through the provision of holistic supportive services, including housing, employment and training, case management, food security, health and wellness, women and family support programs, and dependent child services.
